Mike Cruz
“I was once told, there are two important days in someone’s life, the day they were born, and the day they figure out why.”, for Michael “Mike” Cruz, his why is to “Live to Give”. Mike is actively involved in so many organizations including the Casa Grande Elementary School District.
Mike is the Manager of Public Policy for Lucid and is married to Felicia.
As a child growing up, Mike attended his local Boys and Girls Club in metro Phoenix. Mike shared, “Being able to give back and support organizations that developed me into the person I am today is what makes me excited to participate to ensure these opportunities are here for tomorrow’s youth.”
Mike was at a work training event in Hawaii about 15 years ago and he and his team went to a traditional luau that included a hula dance competition. Mike left that night with the title of “King of the Luau”. Better watch out for the Hula King to win the Mirror Ball!
Krisenna Hancock
Last year’s Mirror Ball Winner Krisenna Hancock has been a part of this event twice now and has had a remarkable experience each time. She shared, “I love the mission of the Boys and Girls Club, and I’ve been inspired by the passion, hard work and dedication demonstrated by the individuals involved in the Dancing for Our Stars event.” Krisenna is a World Dance and vocal instructor and has been dancing since she was 3 years old. Her years of gymnastics, tap, jazz, hip-hop, ballet and ballroom classes have built a strong foundation for her career path. She is the producer of the Amethyst Dance Festival and the director of the Amethyst World Dance Company.
Krisenna also owns an online sash and crown shop called Tiara Connection. This wife and mother also makes time to serve as a board member for the BlackBox Theater and performs as a vocalist in the Fred Cap Band.
Others don’t know but Krisenna was a judge on an episode of TLC’s Toddlers and Tiaras. Whether the prize is another Mirror Ball or Tiara & Sash, Krisenna and her partner have their eyes on the prize and are ready to win!
