Zoe Cooper
Zoe Cooper is a proud 5th generation Casa Grandean. Zoe graduated from Casa Grande Union High School and attended the University of Arizona (Go Wildcats!). She is the current Creative Advertising Manager at Kramer Media and the 4th generation of her family working in the newspaper industry.
Zoe is very involved in her community and always makes time for her fur baby, Jewel. Zoe shared, “It is important to invest time and resources to help Casa Grande continue to flourish”.
When asked why she agreed to be a dancer for this event, she said; “I am excited to raise funds for KaRE Camp, a program within the Nap Lawrence Branch of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Sun Corridor.”
Zoe was a dancer at The Studio for 13 years. That experience is sure to be revealed with another great performance as a dancer in Dancing for Our Stars Season 3!
Myka Borunda
An Arizona native and a Maricopa High School graduate, Myka Borunda has been involved in this community as long as she can remember. Myka Borunda started dancing when she was a young girl and soon found her passion for teaching. She danced throughout high school and pursued her career through college. Myka has found a welcoming space to continue to develop her craft as a teacher at The Studio Of Dance in Casa Grande. She is grateful for the opportunity to live out her dream by sharing her knowledge with the students at The Studio Of Dance. Her mission is to teach her students to be unapologetically authentic artists.
When asked why Myka agreed to be a part of this year’s cast, she shared, “I chose to participate in this event to show my support for the boys and girls club. It is a great program that helps families and kids. Everyone apart of this organization has been so kind and welcoming. I participated last year and had a blast so I’m ready to do it again this year!”
Myka has a hidden talent that not many know about, she likes to make costumes. We’re sure that she and dance partner will be looking top notch as they dance their way to winning the mirror ball.
