Chris Cahall & Alyssa Mangum

Chris Cahall

Christopher “Chris” Cahall—born in Houston, raised in New Jersey—is an insurance agent by day and soon-to-be dance floor star by night! A Salisbury State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science, Chris loves helping people navigate life’s surprises. Selling policies is fun, but the real thrill comes when a claim happens—turning a stressful situation into a smooth, manageable experience is where he truly shines.

At home, Chris shares life with his wife, Jocelyn, their three kids—Elliott, Ethan, and Emerson—and a lively crew of furry friends: Boston Terriers Hattie and Stella, plus rescue cat Quilia. Community involvement is close to his heart, and he’s passionate about supporting youth programs that create safe, fun, and inspiring spaces for kids to grow.

Fun facts: Chris was lead singer of his high school band Islip and has hiked over 70 miles in the Grand Canyon. Childhood dreams of being a garbage man or park ranger may have evolved, but his sense of adventure hasn’t.

Now, he’s ready to bring heart, humor, and bold moves to the dance floor—proving even an insurance agent can dazzle for a great cause!

Alyssa Mangum

Alyssa Mangum is back for her third year as a Professional Dancer in this event—and she’s coming off last year’s coveted Mirror Ball win with her partner, Rusty! Owner and instructor of Alyssa’s Little Dancers for 15 years, Alyssa grew up in a small-town studio where she learned that community is the secret ingredient to nurturing young talent. “When it comes to the youth, I am all in,” she says.

Alyssa has trained and performed with renowned companies and choreographers, including David Taylor Dance Theater of Denver, San Francisco Ballet, New York City International Ballet, and jazz legends Frank Hatchett and Joe Tremaine. She brings this experience to her students, inspiring them to explore every style and shine on stage.

Fun fact: at 16, Alyssa danced as Jabber Jaw for Paramount Parks—yes, in a giant shark costume! And her quirky love-hate relationship with feet keeps her students laughing.

She keeps coming back for the backstage camaraderie, the joy of supporting kids, and the thrill of performing. With heart, talent, and humor, Alyssa is ready to defend her Mirror Ball title!
